Putteridge Primary School fulfils its legal duty by ensuring that children attend school for more than 32.5hours each week.

COLLECTING AT THE END OF THE DAY

All Children in Foundation Stage and Years 1 to 4 must be collected by an adult.  In the interest of the children’s safety, we will not hand them over to any person under 16 years of age.

In Years 5 and 6, it is still the responsibility of the parents to make sure that the children go home safely. If your child is in Year 5 or 6, and you would like them to walk home without an adult, please put this in writing for their class teacher.

If children in any year group are not met by the adult they were expecting, they will be taken to the main school office.
